The main focus of the class is to facilitate independent, self-directed play and interaction between the children. What this means is that as parents , you will take a back seat and allow your child to be in the driver’s seat, quietly observing them throughout the class. This will provide an opportunity to deepen your connection with your child in a distraction free environment, while they get to do what babies do best, PLAY!
Offers the babies the opportunity to interact with simple toys, objects, other babies and caregivers as they choose, while the adults take on the role of observer (unless there is a need to intervene eg. baby is upset or needs feeding, changing etc).
Absolutely 4 Kids will provide a range of developmentally appropriate, open-ended play and learning equipment, so please don’t bring any toys from home.
Provides a safe and quiet, apart from baby created noise, unintrusive play space with minimal stimulation that allows the baby to just be.
Promotes independence in play while deepening the connection between parent and child.
