Absolutely 4 Kids Tutoring Enrolment Terms and Conditions

 

Term fees will be issued for the whole term with whole term payments due 2 weeks after the invoice is issued.

Payment plans for weekly payments are available and it is preferred that autopay be set up in this instance (an admin fee will be charged for payment plans).

Weekly accounts are to be paid 1 week in advance of the next session. 20% late fees apply for payments over two (2) weeks overdue.

 

A resourcing fee of $30 is payable at the time of booking for each term along with a non-refundable deposit equivalent to one week's session fee. The deposit is non-refundable and is for the purpose of holding a spot for your child. Spots will not be held until this deposit is paid in full.

The Student is required to attend their Weekly Session for the whole term, unless a session is rearranged for a time that is mutually convenient to both the teacher and the Student- refer to the cancellation policy.

 

The Tutoring Program will continue for the duration of the current term. In the case a student is taken out of their tutoring program early (by the parent/guardian), 50% of the remaining term’s fees are payable within 7 days.

Confirmation of registration for the following term is required by the last week of the current term.

 

Any weekly session that is cancelled with less than eight (8) hours notice will be billed at the normal tuition fee.

 

When eight (8) hours notice has been given, a 50% cancellation payment is required.

 

Notice of a cancellation must be given via phone call or text message to: 0438 547 785. Emails are NOT acceptable for cancellations.

 

Only ONE make up session is allowed per term (see Cancellation Policy for further details). No shows without notice will be charged at the full session rate and no make up session will be offered.

 

The Student will be taught within the school curriculum for the term, however the Parent / Guardian acknowledges that Absolutely 4 Kids teachers do not complete homework or assignments which are meant to be the Student’s own work.

 

The Parent / Guardian acknowledges that Absolutely 4 Kids are not accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof of the Student.

 

The Parent / Guardian accordingly waives any and all claims arising out of enrolment in the Tutoring Program.

 

The Parent / Guardian acknowledges that all materials created by Absolutely 4 Kids and used in house or distributed to the Student and/or the Parent / Guardian are the copyright of Absolutely 4 Kids and agrees not to publish or distribute any portion of any materials created by Absolutely 4 Kids.

 

If, in the opinion of any staff member, the Student displays threatening or dangerous behaviour to another student, themselves or any member of staff, the Parent / Guardian will be called immediately and the Student may be asked to leave the Absolutely 4 Kids Program.

 

The Student must be ready to begin tutoring on time and have all required equipment. NO extra time will be given at the end of a session if a student is not prepared/late.

 

Mobile phones and other electronic devices that may cause a distraction are not to be used by students during sessions.

 

The Parent / Guardian acknowledges that it is the responsibility of the Parent / Guardian to inform the Centre Director and / or the teacher of any health concerns/allergies of any kind of the Student prior to the beginning of the first session by completing their child’s enrolment form.

 

Absolutely 4 Kids Tutoring Cancellation Policy

 

A cancellation/non-attendance policy exists due to the fact that:

· There has been demand for our programs, teachers and time slots, and therefore it is imperative that these sessions have 100% attendance each week.

· Teachers commit to take a specific timetable for the term and plan and prepare for these sessions each week.

· Each child enrolled at Absolutely 4 Kids has a planned out program. The planning that goes into these programs is extensive, however students will only benefit if they are attending their weekly sessions consistently. It is also important that children attending group sessions all receive the same amount of tutoring time to ensure they do not fall behind in consolidation of concepts.

 

If no notification is given, or less than 8 hours notice is given of a child not attending a session, the full fee for the session/s missed will be charged.

If cancellation is made due to sickness, holiday, etc. and at least 8 hours notice has been given, a make up session will be offered if available.

If a make up session is not possible a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged in the first instance of absence.

A make up session will only be offered in the first instance of absence for the term and any subsequent absences will be charged at the full session fee.

All cancellation notices must be done via phone call or text message to Kirstin Harris on 0438 547 785. Emails will not be accepted.

Please note that students are expected to attend sessions until the end of the term for which they are enrolled. Cancellations of enrolments before this time will incur a fee of 50% for all remaining sessions of that term. Please ensure your child is prepared and ready to begin tutoring on time, as time missed due to this cannot be made up.

The only exceptions to this policy are extended absence for a child having surgery or major illness.Late Fees: 20% late fees will be charged to all payments over two (2) weeks overdue.
