Meet Kirstin Harris –
Founder & Educator
Hi, I’m Kirstin, a passionate teacher dedicated to helping children rediscover their love of learning.
Over the years, I’ve seen how many children struggle in traditional school environments — and how powerful it can be when they’re given space to learn in their own way.
That’s why I created Absolutely 4 Kids Tutoring, Play and Early Learning in Mackay: to support children who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or who simply need a more playful, confidence-building approach.
I believe all children — from toddlers to primary school — are capable, unique, and full of potential. My role is to meet your child exactly where they are, so learning feels natural, supportive, and fun.
Kirstin is a teacher with a passion for connecting with children through tutoring and supportive group work through play for mothers with young babies/toddlers. Not only are these classes great for the children, it’s a beautiful way for mothers to connect too. Fabulous support for women during their motherhood journey.

Hi Kirstin,
Just wanted to give some feedback from our Connect and play group.
Mary and I had a blast over the four weeks at Connect and Play. It was so great watching her socialise and explore with babies her own age. I loved the simplicity of toy selection and messy play and how safe your environment was for Mary to explore and play safely by herself. We will absolutely be back!

He was really nervous and a few mates were cheeky about him doing tutoring, so it played on his mind.
